
On January 29, 2026, at the initiative of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a meeting was held between the chairman of the Democratic Party of Mongolia, Tsogtgerel Odon, and representatives of the Chinese side. Details were reported by MiddleAsianNews.
The Chinese delegation included high-ranking officials such as Guo Wenci, Executive Deputy Director of the Working Committee of Central and State Organizations, Dong Weihua, Vice Chairman of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission, Shen Chuanliang, Deputy Director of the Working Committee, Zhuan Rui, Deputy Director of the Main Office of the First Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, Shen Minjuan, and embassy staff.

From the Democratic Party, the meeting was attended by: Chairman Tsogtgerel Odon, parliamentarians Munkhbat Tsagaanhuu and Ochirbat Ganbat, as well as secretaries Batpurev Ayushsurun and Indranila Ishbaljir.

During the discussion, participants exchanged views on ways to deepen cooperation and establish mutual understanding between the two sides, as well as on expanding formats of interaction.
The Chinese side confirmed its readiness to provide practical assistance in training and developing personnel for the Democratic Party in China.
The participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of active communication and trust between political parties to strengthen bilateral relations.
