Distinguished scholars and analysts from both countries discussed issues of joint development and deepening interconnectedness.
Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Karim Khandzheza noted that the Jalalabad Balasagyn University is an important scientific and educational platform for developing dialogue and knowledge exchange between Kyrgyzstan and China in the current era.
“We value the trusting and partnership relations with our Chinese colleagues, which are built on the principles of sovereign equality and mutual assistance,” emphasized Khandzheza. He also noted that the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee are of interest to the Kyrgyz side and can become an important source of analytical and practical experience.

The Jogorku Kenesh supports the development of scientific and educational contacts for sustainable progress,” he added, expressing confidence that the briefing would serve as an effective platform for exchanging opinions and strengthening cooperation.
Gao Xiang, President of CASS, reported that last year a memorandum was signed in Beijing with the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of Kyrgyzstan in the presence of the leaders of both states. He expressed hope that this agreement would deepen the strategic partnership in a new era, noting that Kyrgyzstan is actively implementing the National Development Plan until 2030, striving for sustainable development.
“China will always be a reliable friend and partner of Kyrgyzstan, ready to work together on the implementation of our cooperation plan,” said Gao Xiang.
He also emphasized the uniqueness of the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee in terms of governance and planning.
“One of the reasons for the success of Chinese modernization lies in the CPC's consistent attention to the scientific development of long-term plans,” noted Gao Xiang, adding that the implementation of five-year plans creates institutional advantages for the country.
The period of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) will be crucial for China, which aims to strengthen its positions in various fields and move towards socialist modernization.
Gao Xiang pointed out China's achievements in socio-economic development, which are a rare phenomenon on a global scale. He noted that despite the complex international situation, the CPC is successfully leading the country to overcome difficulties and achieve stability.
“China's economy, like a boundless ocean, is developing steadily and sustainably,” he added, mentioning record economic growth figures over the past five years.
In his opinion, Chinese modernization opens new opportunities for developing countries and contributes to overall development on the world stage.

The ambassador also highlighted the importance of regular meetings between the leaders of China and Kyrgyzstan to strengthen bilateral relations and define their vector.
At the end of the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed between KNU and CASS, and an exhibition of scientific works by Chinese scholars was held, along with the opening of the "Book House" featuring works by Xi Jinping.
