The time of the earthquake, according to data from the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was recorded at 15:38 local time. The magnitude was 3.7, and the epicenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers. The shallow depth contributed to the significant spread of the seismic wave. The greatest intensity of shaking – 2–3 points – was observed in the Bulungur and Bakhmal districts. Residents of the Taylak, Urgut, Jambay, and Gallaorol districts felt less intense tremors, around 2 points.

The situation in the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions remains stable. According to preliminary information from emergency services, no destruction or injuries have been reported. Seismologists continue to monitor the situation, but there are currently no grounds for panic.
