On February 23, 2026, the XII meeting of consular consultations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea was held in Seoul, organized by the foreign ministries of both countries.
The event was chaired by Bold Bat-Ochir, Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Yun Joo-sok, Director of the Consular Relations and Security Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
During the discussions, the parties addressed important aspects of bilateral relations, cooperation in protecting the rights and interests of citizens, as well as measures to simplify visa procedures for Mongolian citizens wishing to visit the Republic of Korea.
