As a result of a drone strike in the Ras Tanura area, Saudi Aramco has decided to halt operations at its oil refinery. According to Bloomberg, this refinery is one of the largest in Saudi Arabia and has a processing capacity of 550,000 barrels of oil per day. The suspension of operations was announced on Monday to assess the damage, while the fire at the facility was under control.
Furthermore, amid the escalating situation in the Middle East, oil prices in London rose by nearly 10%. This occurred after the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, to which Tehran responded with missile strikes and drone attacks on countries in the region.
