A powerful storm has hit Turkey, affecting almost the entire region.

According to local media, dozens of incidents have occurred, including damage to buildings and vehicles. Strong gusts of wind are tearing off roofs, toppling trees, and sweeping away boats. Airplanes are unable to land, and trucks are overturning. Debris from roofs has blocked major highways, leading to power outages across the country.

In Bursa, a tragedy claimed the life of a 22-year-old young man due to a wall collapse. In Kocaeli, classes in educational institutions have been canceled, while beaches, historical buildings, and minarets in Istanbul, Balıkesir, and Manisa have been damaged.

On the coast of Kireçburnu in Sarıyer, a 10-meter lighthouse also succumbed to the elements and collapsed into the sea.

Ferry and maritime services have been suspended.

The meteorological service has issued a "yellow" level warning for many provinces, including Istanbul and Ankara, predicting a sharp drop in temperature in the coming days.
