According to the head of the trauma department, Alymbek Turdugul uulu, the device helps patients recover quickly after surgeries.
“This modern device was very much needed by our department. Thanks to the EOC, the doctor can see the bone and the position of the implant right during the operation, can control the correctness of the fracture repositioning, timely identify and immediately correct possible errors, obtain images from any angle without disturbing the patient, and perform modern minimally invasive interventions,” the head reported.
Alymbek Turdugul uulu also emphasized that this device was purchased with funds from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. Currently, there is no similar equipment in any district state hospital, and patients were forced to be referred to the National Hospital for treatment.
