In 2025, revenues from the sale of fishing licenses and cards amounted to 13,573,419 soms, significantly exceeding the results of 2024, when this amount was 3,146,149 soms. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The department noted that such a high figure was made possible by the introduction of an online sales system for fishing licenses.
In addition, the Department of Fisheries established limits on sport and recreational fishing in water bodies of fishery significance, which were agreed upon with the ichthyology and hydrobiology laboratory of the Biological Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
To enhance the effectiveness of fishing activities, agreements were signed with various public organizations and limited liability companies.
Athletes and fishing enthusiasts in Kyrgyzstan can now conveniently purchase fishing licenses and make payments online. To do this, they should visit the official website agro.gov.kg, go to the "Services" section → "Buy Fishing License" or use the direct link "Fishing License" — https://rb.agro.gov.kg/ and scan the ELQR code provided there.
Payment can be made using any mobile bank or electronic wallet.
After successful payment, the electronic fishing license will be sent to the email address provided by the user during registration and will be valid throughout the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
