The government of Kyrgyzstan intends to increase the export of food products to 75 billion soms, as reflected in the new action plan.

The implementation period of this plan spans from the first quarter of 2026 to the fourth quarter of 2030.

As part of this initiative, a national brand will be developed, covering organic and halal products, including the creation of a logo, packaging, and marketing strategy. The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy have been appointed as responsible for this task.

The anticipated outcome will be the launch of the national brand, as well as the development of a marketing strategy to promote products such as Kyrgyz nuts, rice, honey, and dried apricots, which will help achieve the planned export level of 75 billion soms.

According to the National Statistical Committee, the value of food exports in 2024 amounted to approximately 37.5 billion soms. This figure includes supplies of both livestock and animal products, as well as plant products, fats and oils, prepared food products, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
