He noted that for the first time, the budget will be compiled without division into city and district levels.
“Previously, the budget was first formed as a city budget and then distributed among the districts. Now we will move to a unified budget for the entire city of Bishkek,” emphasized Baigonchokov.
However, separate plans will be provided for the four districts and two administrations.
“Individual plans will be created for each district and administration, but the expenditure of funds will occur within the framework of the overall budget,” added the deputy mayor.
Baigonchokov also highlighted that one of the main advantages of the new model will be cooperation with tax authorities.
“All plans will be coordinated with the central tax service and the Ministry of Finance, after which they will be sent for implementation. Based on this, further work will be built,” he concluded.
