Business complains about issues with cashless payments

The discussion of issues related to cashless payments took place with the participation of the State Tax Service, banks, and regulators

At a meeting organized by the State Tax Service, the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs in making cashless transactions were discussed. The main focus was on high fees, delays in crediting funds, and challenges in banking procedures.

Representatives from the State Tax Service, the National Bank, various commercial banks, the Interbank Processing Center, and the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan participated in the event.

According to the tax service, the most common complaints from entrepreneurs are related to inflated fees for processing cashless payments, delays in the arrival of funds to accounts, and the lack of information about payers when paying via QR codes in bank statements. Additionally, a number of entrepreneurs note excessive requirements from some banks, which complicates business operations.

In response to these issues, the State Tax Service proposed several solutions, including reducing fees, speeding up the process of crediting funds, increasing payment transparency, eliminating excessive paperwork during audits, and simplifying the process of opening bank accounts. It was also suggested to consider the possibility of using personal wallets for conducting business in the digital economy.

As a result of the meeting, specific tasks were set for banks and regulators to address the identified problems. The National Bank and commercial banks expressed their readiness to work on the proposed issues.
