The GNS Discussed Issues of Cashless Payments Involving Banks, the NBKR, and Relevant Government Agencies

The State Tax Service (STS) organized a working meeting focused on the development of cashless payments in the business sector, according to information from the STS press service.

Participants in the meeting included STS Deputy Chairmen Azat Almanbetov and Kubanychbek Isabekov, as well as representatives from various institutions, including the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the Interbank Processing Center, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and the Union of Banks of the country.

During the discussion, issues related to the practical application of cashless payments, such as the use of QR codes and electronic wallets, were raised. Participants addressed problems associated with the acceptance of cashless payments and discussed issues of convenience, transparency, and security of these transactions.

Attention was also given to problems concerning payment instruments registered to individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. The STS emphasized that the resolution of these issues primarily lies with banks and relevant organizations.

Additionally, the meeting covered topics related to accelerating the crediting of funds, tariff policy, as well as technical and organizational aspects that affect the daily activities of entrepreneurs.

As a result of the meeting, participants expressed their readiness for further cooperation aimed at improving cashless payments and creating more favorable conditions for doing business.
