At the meeting, the preparation of businesses for the new initiative was discussed, as well as the rules and regulations for using navigation seals in foreign economic activity within the EAEU framework. According to Kubanychbek Isabekov, the goal of this initiative is to ensure the safety and accuracy of declared goods, which will expedite the border crossing process and reduce the burden on entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, specialists from the GNS and the national operator of the system explained in detail how the use of navigation seals will take place. Businessmen also had the opportunity to ask their questions and receive the necessary clarifications.
Kubanychbek Isabekov added that in the future, training events will be planned for GNS employees aimed at clarifying issues related to the application of this tracking system.
It is worth noting that according to the EAEU Agreement on navigation seals, from February 11, 2026, permanent tracking of cargo transportation using these seals will be introduced in all member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
This innovation will apply to the transportation of alcoholic products and tobacco products by both road and rail transport.
