In 2026, the use of artificial intelligence in the process of tax audits will begin in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the State Institution "Salyk Service".

Over the past four years, the agency has been actively digitizing tax reports and implementing remote payments through the platform cabinet.salyk.kg and the Salyk mobile application.

In 2025, an analytical tool called "Kezet," based on artificial intelligence, was integrated into the system, significantly improving the accuracy of data processing. In the following year, the use of AI is expected to expand, allowing for the automation of inspectors' work and increasing the transparency of audits.
According to World Bank data, by 2025, the tax payment process in Kyrgyzstan will have become the fastest in the region.
From 2012 to 2023, calculating taxes took seven times longer than the payment itself; however, this issue has now been resolved.

Shamshybek Kachkynbay uulu, the director of the institution, emphasized that the main goal of the State Institution is to minimize queues and personal visits to the tax service, allowing citizens to save time and resources when submitting tax declarations.
