- In his address to the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union countries, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highlighted the digitalization of industry and the agro-industrial complex as one of the key areas of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the EAEU in 2026.

“The foundation of the economies of the EAEU member states consists of the industrial sector and the agro-industrial complex. We must work on deepening and expanding cooperation to create competitive products in the international arena,” Tokayev noted.

Within the framework of the EAEU, mechanisms for financing joint projects in the fields of industry and the agro-industrial complex have already been developed. At the same time, priority should be given to innovative projects with breakthrough potential.

For the effective implementation of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, it is important to engage every enterprise and farm. In this regard, it is necessary to create demonstration centers, develop startups in the field of automation, and establish competence centers.

The Eurasian Economic Commission should support initiatives aimed at breakthrough solutions.
