An economic forum of the USA and Central Asia will be held in Bishkek

Washington continues its efforts to expand trade ties in this strategically important region.


Sergio Gore, the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, will arrive in Kyrgyzstan for a four-day official visit at the invitation of the country's government.

The press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Askhat Alagozov, reported that the visit program includes a personal meeting between Gore and President Sadyr Japarov.

The main event of this visit will be Gore's participation in the second dialogue forum "B5+1," which will focus on strengthening economic cooperation between Central Asia and the United States.

The forum will take place in Bishkek on February 4-5 and will concentrate on issues related to the development of economic relations between the countries. This visit is part of Washington's efforts to diversify trade relations in this strategically important region.
