Askhat Alagozov: Vladimir Solovyov's statements are 'empty and unserious'

The position of the president's press secretary regarding the statements of the TV host

Askhat Alagozov, press secretary of President Sadyr Japarov, characterized the words of TV host Vladimir Solovyov as "empty and unserious." This statement was related to proposals for conducting a special military operation (SMO) in Russia's spheres of influence.

According to Alagozov, such statements require an adequate response at the appropriate level.

He noted: "If such words were spoken by a deputy or a minister, our legislators or government members would respond to them. I know that one of the deputies suggested declaring Solovyov a persona non grata, for which there is a special procedure. We are waiting to see how this issue will be addressed."

Alagozov also emphasized that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as with other Central Asian countries, are at a high level.

He added: "Therefore, any such proposals have no basis. Nevertheless, considering that Solovyov represents state television, his unclear statements can create tension between peoples or, at the very least, cause misunderstandings. Therefore, the response should be strict. We hope that his leadership will take appropriate measures."

Recall that in one of his broadcasts, Solovyov stated the need for Russia to act similarly to the United States in Venezuela, ignoring international law, and to consider the possibility of conducting an SMO in the territories of Russia's influence.
