Askhat Alagozov, the press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, commented on the recent statements made by Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov. Representatives from various media outlets approached him with questions about whether an official statement would be made by the authorities regarding Solovyov's words.

According to Alagozov, such statements should not be taken seriously, as they are part of Solovyov's lengthy broadcasts where he discusses a multitude of topics. "These statements should be considered empty and unserious," the press secretary noted.

Regarding the reaction to the journalist's words, Alagozov added that since Solovyov is a journalist and TV host, it is the representatives of the journalistic community or other individuals who should respond to his statements. "If such statements came from a deputy or a minister, then a response would be provided by our parliamentarians or government members," he explained.

Additionally, Askhat Alagozov mentioned the proposal from one of the deputies to declare Solovyov a persona non grata. "There is a corresponding procedure for this. We will see how this issue will be addressed. It is important to note that bilateral and multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as with the Central Asian states, are at a high level. This is confirmed by mutual visits and cooperation within organizations such as the CIS, EAEU, and SCO," the press secretary added.

He emphasized that any such assumptions are unfounded. However, considering that Solovyov works for state television, his provocative statements may cause misunderstandings among citizens of friendly countries and may even require strict measures to be taken. "We hope that Solovyov's leadership will take adequate measures," Alagozov concluded.

It should be noted that the TV host's statements have caused public resonance. In one of his recent broadcasts, Solovyov stated that Russia should, like the U.S. in Venezuela, ignore international law and consider the possibility of military intervention in the internal affairs of Armenia and Central Asian countries to keep them within Russia's "sphere of influence."

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already responded, stating that such statements do not correspond to the spirit of friendship between Moscow and Yerevan. Deputy Dastan Bekeshev proposed to declare Solovyov a persona non grata.
