Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, announced the start of preparations for the state visit of the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. This statement was made on January 15 at a press conference held in Bishkek.

The Minister emphasized the high level of cooperation between the two countries, noting that the year 2025 will be marked by significant bilateral contacts.

In particular, last year saw the visit of President Sadyr Japarov to China, as well as meetings within the framework of the "Central Asia - China" format and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.

According to Kulubaev, the year 2026 promises to be active in the context of bilateral relations. The upcoming visit of Xi Jinping will be a major event, and it is expected that his agenda will be diverse, covering a wide range of cooperation issues.
