Tokaev and Trump Plan New Meeting

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Donald Trump continue to maintain an active dialogue. This was reported by Julie Staft, the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan, during a recent meeting with the Kazakh leader.

During their conversation, important aspects of further strengthening bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the United States were discussed.

Staft expressed confidence in Trump's support and her interest in deepening cooperation, considering the interests of both leaders. She also noted that Tokayev recently visited Washington and plans a new visit to the U.S. in the near future.

The ambassador emphasized that it is a great honor for her to represent the U.S. in Kazakhstan and reminded that it was the American side that first recognized the country's independence. The level of partnership between the states, according to her, has reached record highs.

In addition to official matters, she and her family are looking forward to the opportunity to better understand the culture and daily life of Kazakhstanis.

According to her, Kazakhstan and the U.S. actively cooperate in the fields of culture, economy, and trade, and the U.S. intends to continue expanding this interaction.
