Tokayev and Trump will meet again, said the US ambassador to Kazakhstan
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, and Donald Trump, the President of the United States, continue to maintain an active and trusting dialogue. In the near future, they will meet again, as reported by Julie Stufft, the new U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan, during her recent meeting with Tokayev.

The ambassador noted that key areas of bilateral relations were discussed. She emphasized, “I am confident that President Trump fully supports our efforts, and I look forward to the opportunity to expand our cooperation with the support of both leaders.” Tokayev recently visited Washington and has planned a new visit to the U.S.

Expressing her joy at her appointment to Kazakhstan, Julie Stufft called it a great honor. She reminded that the United States was the first country to recognize Kazakhstan's independence and emphasized that the partnership between the countries has reached a historic level.

“Our family is also looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about the culture and life of this wonderful republic and its people. We are happy to be here,” the ambassador added.

She also mentioned that Kazakhstan and the U.S. are actively interacting in areas such as culture, economy, and people-to-people exchanges, and expressed her intention to continue developing these ties in all spheres.
