Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has signed a new decree under which the United States will cease its funding and participation in 66 international organizations. This list includes 31 organizations from the United Nations (UN) system. This was reported on the official White House website.

The statement emphasizes that "many of these organizations support radical climate initiatives, global governance, and ideological programs that contradict the sovereignty and economic power of the United States."

A list of specific organizations has not been published; however, the press release mentions that American taxpayers have "invested billions" in funding international structures without receiving significant returns on their investments.

The White House press office also reminded that at the beginning of Donald Trump's second term, the United States had already withdrawn from a number of international agreements, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Paris Climate Agreement, the UN Human Rights Council, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
