The minister reported that in 2025, 2,088 foreign citizens were deported from Kyrgyzstan, while about 9,000 foreign citizens legalized their status. According to him, deportation only affects those who have been in the USA without a visa or documents for 5-10 years, not those who reside in the country legally.
Kulubaev noted that all Central Asian countries are included in the list, and therefore joint work on this issue is necessary.
He also mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is addressing the issue of the visa bond introduced by the USA.
The minister emphasized that if the salary is $40,000, a bond of $15,000 can be paid. However, he stated that for most citizens, salaries do not exceed $1,000, and therefore they will continue discussions with the American side on this matter.
