According to the new rules, the amount of the financial bond will range from 5,000 to 15,000 US dollars and will be determined by the consular officer during the interview. Applicants will also need to provide Form I-352 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security only at the request of the consular officer and confirm their agreement to the bond conditions through the online platform Pay.gov from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

The Ministry emphasizes several key points:

— the payment of a financial bond does not guarantee the issuance of a visa;

— in case of a change in immigration status or exceeding the allowed stay, the bond is non-refundable;

— the new rules apply exclusively to applications submitted after the changes come into effect.

Citizens who have paid the financial bond and received a visa must enter and exit the U.S. only through specific points of entry:

— Logan International Airport in Boston (BOS);

— John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York (JFK);

— Dulles International Airport in Washington (IAD).

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in denial of entry or improper exit processing.

The reason for including a number of countries on this list is the high level of visa regime violations observed among citizens of these states.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly recommends that citizens planning trips to the U.S. familiarize themselves in advance with the new visa requirements and strictly adhere to the conditions for obtaining visas, as well as comply with the visa and immigration legislation of the host country.
