Employees of the SPENM of the Bishkek City Police Department, as part of the operation "Illegal," are conducting activities aimed at explaining and monitoring compliance with migration norms by foreigners present in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The department reminds that foreign citizens must always carry original documents that verify their identity and confirm the legality of their stay in the country. This includes a passport or another identity document, a valid work or study visa (in the case of a visa regime), and a document of registration with the migration account.

If a foreigner does not have the required documents, they may be taken to the internal affairs authorities to establish their identity and clarify the reasons for their stay. During inspections, 35 foreign citizens were taken to the Bishkek City Police Department for verification and further actions in accordance with current legislation.

The City Police Department also emphasized that employers, educational institutions, and inviting parties do not have the right to seize or keep the passports and other personal documents of foreign citizens.

In conclusion, the Bishkek City Police Department calls on both foreign citizens and the hosting side to strictly adhere to the migration legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
