Construction of a road has begun in the Kök-Art river area, which will provide an additional route to the city of Manas.

According to the city administration, this project aims to eliminate traffic jams on the main entry routes and improve conditions for motorists.

The construction work is being carried out by the state enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Yug" in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

As stated by the representative of the enterprise, Musa Berdigulov, a large amount of machinery is involved at the construction site. "The new road, located along the Kök-Art river, will connect the Bishkek—Osh highway with the Manas—Blagoveshchenka road. The length of the new route will be 9.2 kilometers, with a width of 8 meters. The project is being financed from the republican budget. Currently, preparatory work is underway, and the estimate and project documentation are being developed. There are 22 dump trucks, 2 loaders, 2 excavators, and 1 grader working on the site," Berdigulov noted.

Completion of the construction is planned by the end of the current year. In the future, the new road will serve as an alternative route for entering Manas.
