On February 6, the regulator sold currency worth $109.95 million on the interbank market. Of this amount, $65.5 million was sold in spot transactions, while $44.45 million was sold in forward transactions.
Thus, the total sales since the beginning of 2026 reached $244 million.
It is worth noting that the first intervention by the National Bank this year took place on January 19, when $134.05 million was sold on the interbank market.
Last year, the regulator conducted eight interventions, during which currency worth a total of $853 million was sold. The largest amount sold during an intervention was $179.5 million, recorded in December.
