Kyrgyzstan has taken an important step towards improving its logistics infrastructure by signing Resolution No. 58 on joining the Agreement on Strengthening Ground Transport Connectivity in Central Asia.
The aim of this agreement is to create optimal conditions for local carriers, which will ensure significant progress in the field of international transport services. Key aspects of the document include the development of transit, support for fair competition, and substantial simplification of border procedures within the region.
In accordance with established procedures, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has been tasked with sending an official note of accession to the agreement to Tajikistan, which is the depositary of this document.
It is expected that the implementation of this agreement will help eliminate administrative barriers and accelerate the flow of goods between the countries of the region. The resolution will come into effect 15 days after its official publication.
