Kyrgyzstan has implemented the e-Permit system with China and Turkic-speaking countries

It is expected that this will bring in over 500 million soms to the state budget.

Starting from 2026, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan will begin using the electronic e-Permit system for international freight transportation with China. As part of this initiative, local carriers are already using electronic permits for operations with Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, as reported by the ministry's press service.

The introduction of the e-Permit system has significantly simplified the process of exchanging permit documents. Now carriers can request and submit forms in an online format, avoiding the need for personal visits and waiting in lines, which greatly speeds up the provision of services.

Previously, permits were issued in paper form. In 2025, about 130,000 forms were issued for operations with China, which required significant budget expenditures for their preparation and delivery.

As noted by the press service, "the e-Permit system contributes to increased transparency, reduced corruption risks, and the development of international road freight transportation. This project also helps to reduce government spending and strengthen Kyrgyzstan's position as a logistics center in Central Asia."

According to forecasts, by 2026, the implementation of the electronic system will bring over 500 million soms into the country's budget.
