In Kyrgyzstan, the e-Permit system has been implemented to simplify international freight transportation with Turkic-speaking countries and China. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the information from the ministry, domestic carriers can now conduct international freight transport with countries such as China, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan by obtaining electronic permits for this purpose.

This new approach has significantly simplified the process of exchanging permit documents, providing the opportunity to obtain permits in an online format. This eliminates the need for personal visits and waiting in lines, as well as reduces the time for service provision.

Previously, the exchange of permit forms was conducted only in paper form, and in 2025, 130,000 such forms were registered, for the preparation and delivery of which budget funds were spent.

The e-Permit system ensures reliability, transparency, and convenience, as well as helps reduce corruption risks and cut budget expenditures. "These initiatives create conditions for transforming Kyrgyzstan into a logistics center of Central Asia. It is expected that with the implementation of the electronic system, the state budget will be replenished by more than 500 million soms by 2026," the report states.
