Today, at a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, which was attended by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, important issues were discussed.
The ministry reported that the agenda included key areas of the country's development until 2030, as well as the government's action plan for 2026 and the results of the Tourism Development Support Fund and the "Kyrgyzexport" Center.
After listening to the reports, Bakyt Torobaev proposed specific measures for economic development, including the effective use of industrial potential, the creation of a regional hub and data centers that meet international standards, as well as improving digitalization processes.
As a result of the meeting, he noted that the Ministry of Economy and Commerce plays a central role, as many projects pass through it.
"The Ministry of Economy and Commerce should become a think tank for generating large projects and presenting them at the global level," emphasized Bakyt Torobaev.
At the end of the meeting, he stressed the need to maintain the set pace of sustainable development.
