In Kyrgyzstan, the practical application of live-line work technologies (LLW) is beginning, thanks to the transfer of equipment from JSC "NESC" and JSC "Network Company" from Tatarstan, Russia. As reported by the Russian Trade Representation, this approach will allow for the maintenance of electrical networks without the need to disconnect consumers, significantly increasing safety for technical personnel.
This transfer is the result of agreements reached between the relevant agencies in 2025, under which the Kyrgyz side was provided with two sets of modern personal protective equipment for LLW free of charge. This technical enhancement logically continues the educational initiative: in December 2025, 11 employees of "NESC" successfully completed training at a specialized center in Tatarstan and received permits to carry out such work. The combination of qualified personnel and modern equipment creates a solid foundation for servicing Kyrgyzstan's energy system without interruptions in electricity supply.
