According to data from the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture, the area of vineyards in the country continues to increase. By the end of 2025, it will reach 2,870 hectares, which is 225 hectares more compared to the previous year. The total grape harvest has reached 5,990.1 tons, and the average yield is 20.5 centners per hectare.

In order to develop viticulture in Kyrgyzstan, seedlings have been imported from Serbia, which have undergone phytosanitary inspection and were selected based on the principles of virus-free status and quality.

In the Leilek district of the Batken region, projects aimed at developing this sector are also being implemented. In the rural area of Jany-Jer, local cooperatives are engaged in growing seedlings of the "avatar" and "kishmish" varieties. At the same time, a new nursery is being established that will specialize in the production of seedlings of the "avatar," "manicure finger," and "kishmish" varieties.
