The state operator Mega has a new CEO

At an extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on February 18, a decision was made to appoint Mederbek Kurmanbekov as the General Director of JSC "Alpha Telecom," which manages the mobile network Mega. This information was provided by company representatives.

From October 2023 to August 2024, Kurmanbekov held the position of First Deputy General Director at the same company.

After that, from August 2024 to February 2026, he worked as the Director of Economics, Finance, and Strategic Development at JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," where he also served on the board.

The company noted that the new appointment is aimed at supporting the sustainable development of the organization, strengthening its market position, and implementing key initiatives in the interests of clients and the state.
