The Cabinet of Ministers banned the export of mineral fertilizers from Kyrgyzstan

Measures have been taken to regulate the domestic market and support agricultural producers.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the country announced the introduction of a temporary restriction on the export of mineral fertilizers outside the Eurasian Economic Union. This information was stated in an official government announcement.

According to decree No. 11, signed on February 18, 2026, the duration of the ban is 6 months.

Exceptions to the rules apply only to customs transit and humanitarian aid provided by the government. In addition, the restrictions do not apply to fertilizers that were imported from third countries if they do not meet the established quality standards.

Government representatives noted that "the temporary ban is aimed at maintaining a stable supply of fertilizers to agricultural producers in anticipation of the active agricultural season."
