According to information provided by the National Statistics Committee, in 2025, the trade turnover between the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan increased by 26.8% compared to the previous year.

As a result of this growth, the volume of trade rose by nearly $400 million, reaching a total of $1.9 billion.

The main factor behind the increase in trade turnover was a significant rise in the import of Kazakh goods to Kyrgyzstan, which grew by 44.5% and amounted to $1.4 billion.

At the same time, 80% of the total increase in imports was provided by ten key commodity groups, among which are petroleum products, processed grain products, flour, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tobacco, ferrous metals, cement, as well as cocoa and its derivatives.

In turn, export supplies from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan decreased by 8.4%, amounting to $453.2 million.
