The GDP of Kyrgyzstan for the year 2025 amounted to nearly 2 trillion soms

According to preliminary data, the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan for the year 2025 amounted to 1 trillion 976.4 billion soms. This figure is 11.1 percent higher than in the same period of 2024, as reported by the National Statistical Committee.

In the first 11 months of 2025, GDP growth accelerated to 10.2 percent.

According to information from the National Statistical Committee, more than half (over 51 percent) of the gross domestic product consists of services, which is 1.1 percent lower compared to January-December 2024. At the same time, the share of goods production increased by 1.1 percent, reaching 34.4 percent. Thus, the service sector accounts for 49.6 percent of the total GDP, the goods sectors — 35.4 percent, and net taxes on products — 15 percent.

In construction, there is a growth of 1 percent compared to the previous year, in industry — 0.7 percent, while the share of agriculture decreased by 0.6 percent.

The National Statistical Committee noted that the preliminary GDP estimates reflect trends in economic development and are based on changes in indices in key sectors such as agriculture, industry, construction, trade, hospitality and restaurant business, transport, and communication. These sectors account for about 55 percent of the total GDP.

In 2025, there is an increase in consumer prices and tariffs of 9.4 percent compared to December 2024. At the same time, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 8 percent, and non-food goods by 7.8 percent. Tariffs for services to the population rose by 11.2 percent.
