Inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan for 2025 was 9.4%, - National Statistics Committee

According to the chairman of the National Statistical Committee Baktybek Kudaybergenov, in Kyrgyzstan, consumer prices and tariffs increased by 9.4% in 2025 compared to the previous year. This information was announced at a press conference.

Analysis of the price growth structure shows the following changes:

    • the increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages was 9.9%;

• alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 8.0%;

• non-food goods became more expensive by 7.8%;

• services for the population increased in price by 11.2%.

Among the goods that significantly rose in price, fresh vegetables and fruits, fish, vegetable oil, potatoes, fresh meat, dairy products, flour, and sugar can be highlighted.

In December 2025, compared to December 2024, the growth of consumer prices and tariffs was recorded in all regions of the country. The highest price increase of 11.6% was observed in the city of Osh, where non-food goods rose by 12.0%, and services for the population increased by 13.5%.
The Chui region noted the maximum price growth for food products and non-alcoholic beverages, while the Issyk-Kul region saw an increase in the prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
