National Statistics Committee: According to the results of 2025, the GDP growth of Kyrgyzstan was 11.1%

According to the National Statistics Committee, the gross domestic product of Kyrgyzstan in 2025, by preliminary estimates, amounted to over 1.9 trillion soms, which is 11.1 percent higher than in 2024.



The volume of industrial production in 2025 amounted to 799.7 billion soms, increasing by 10.6 percent compared to the previous year. Key growth factors include an increase in the production of pharmaceutical products (by 1.7 times), as well as growth in the production of rubber and plastic products (by 35.7 percent), construction materials (also by 35.7 percent), wooden and paper products, printing products (by 30.5 percent), as well as food products and tobacco (by 30.1 percent). The increase in chemical product production was 19.8 percent, and mineral extraction rose by 14.2 percent.



Construction also showed positive results, increasing by 21.1 percent, while wholesale and retail trade grew by 17.8 percent. Agriculture demonstrated a growth of 2.2 percent.

Throughout 2025 (compared to December 2024), the overall increase in consumer prices and tariffs in the republic was 9.4 percent. Prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 9.9 percent, for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 8.0 percent, while prices for non-food goods increased by 7.8 percent. Tariffs for services to the population rose by 11.2 percent.

In December 2025 compared to December 2024, the growth of consumer prices and tariffs was observed in all regions of the country. The largest price increase (11.6 percent) occurred in the city of Osh, which is associated with the rise in prices for non-food goods (by 12.0 percent) and services (by 13.5 percent). In the Chuy region, the maximum price increase for food products and non-alcoholic beverages was 13.1 percent, while in the Issyk-Kul region, it was 14.4 percent for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

The volume of foreign and mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan from January to November 2025 amounted to 14 billion US dollars, which is 12.2 percent less compared to the same period in 2024. Export deliveries decreased by 43.5 percent, while imports increased by 0.5 percent.

Mutual trade with the EAEU member states from January to November 2025 amounted to 4.9 billion US dollars, increasing by 1.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. The largest share of mutual trade was with Russia (64.1 percent) and Kazakhstan (33.5 percent).
