
According to information provided by the Chairman of the National Statistics Committee, Baktybek Kudaybergenov, from January to December 2025, there was an increase in consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan at a rate of 9.4% compared to December 2024.
The most noticeable increase occurred in tariffs for services to the population, which rose by 11.2%. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.9%, while alcoholic beverages and tobacco products became 8% more expensive. Non-food goods rose in price by 7.8%.
In December 2025, compared to the same month of the previous year, price and tariff increases were recorded across all regions of the republic. The highest overall price increase was observed in the city of Osh, where it reached 11.6%. This is associated with an increase in prices for non-food goods (12%) and a rise in tariffs for services to the population (13.5%).
Chuy region demonstrated the highest price growth for food products and non-alcoholic beverages — by 13.1%. The Issyk-Kul region recorded the maximum increase in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products — by 14.4%.
