Starting from January 1, 2026, an increase in the excise tax on alcoholic products will come into effect. This information was announced by the press service of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“According to the resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, adopted on December 18, 2025, a phased increase in excise taxes on alcoholic goods is planned from January 1, 2026, to January 1, 2029. The excise rate on vodka will be 200 soms per liter starting January 1, 2026,” the message states.
