Up to $30 million will be invested in the reconstruction of the "Sayakat" tourist complex and the "Dostuk" hotel in Bishkek.

In Bishkek, a major reconstruction of the "Dostuk" hotel and the "Sayakat" tourist complex is underway, which are currently managed by the Directorate for the Management of Sanatorium, Health Resort, and Tourist Facilities operating under the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The press service of the directorate reports that investments attracted by a Russian company for the renovation of "Sayakat" amount to approximately $5 million. The complete renovation of the "Dostuk" hotel requires investments in the range of $15 to $25 million.

During the reconstruction process, all engineering systems will be completely updated, including electricity supply, water supply, and sewage systems. There will also be repairs to the roofing, facades, and interior spaces, as well as modernization of the heating system.

During the reconstruction, the "Dostuk" hotel is closed to visitors. The investor, in turn, has committed to paying an annual rent of 40.8 million soms, which will increase to 80.58 million soms starting from the fourth quarter of 2027, and to 100.9 million soms per year from 2029 to 2049.

The press service also emphasized that after the transfer of the "Dostuk" hotel to the management of the directorate, the state managed to reclaim 35.59% of the shares that were previously owned by a private shareholder.
