From February 17 to 19, training seminars for farmers were held in the Osh region, specifically in the Kara-Suu, Nookat, and Kara-Kuldzhin districts. These events were organized by the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures in collaboration with the KOPIA center and with the support of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The aim of these field seminars was to enhance the efficiency of the agro-industrial sector through the implementation of modern technologies. The training program combined theoretical knowledge with practical sessions, where participants studied the scientific principles of diet formulation and methods of balanced feeding. Special attention was given to the quality of feed, which is a key factor for achieving high animal productivity.
A significant part of the program was dedicated to artificial insemination and its importance for improving the genetic potential of livestock. Participants were introduced to the latest biotechnologies that can significantly enhance the competitiveness of farms and contribute to the sustainable development of animal husbandry in the southern region of Kyrgyzstan.
These initiatives help strengthen the link between science and practical production. Experts emphasize that regularly updating the professional knowledge of rural entrepreneurs is an important step towards elevating local animal husbandry to a new technological level.
