During a national meeting at "Yntymak Ordo," Erlis Akunbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, announced the allocation of 1.7 billion soms for the development of irrigation infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan in 2025.
He noted that project work is currently underway on 41 sites, while construction is ongoing at 33 sites.
“In addition, restoration work is being carried out at 10 sites, and design work is being conducted for 24 other sites,” he added.
