At a national meeting held on February 27 at "Yntymak Ordo," he reported that from 2021 to 2025, the total income from "Kumtor" will exceed 440 billion soms. More than 100 billion soms have been received in the country's budget in the form of taxes and other mandatory payments. Additionally, over the past four years, the state has received dividends amounting to more than 38 billion soms.
According to the president, from 1994 to 2021, Kyrgyzstan received about 100 million dollars in dividends from "Kumtor."Japarov noted that previously, out of 410 tons of gold exported, only 1 ton benefited Kyrgyzstan, whereas now "Kumtor" has become a reliable source of the budget, contributing to the financing of social programs and infrastructure projects.
