The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has announced the launch of a pilot project aimed at developing meat clusters in Bishkek and the Chui region.
According to the agency, the initiative includes the entire production process — from animal fattening to processing and sales of products.
Farming enterprises will be able to take advantage of preferential loans with an interest rate of 3% per annum for a term of up to 60 months, including a grace period of up to 12 months.
The total funding for the project amounts to 1.5 billion soms, and its implementation is carried out by OJSC "Aiyl Bank" and OJSC "Eldik Bank."
