In Bishkek, a meeting took place between the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Sydykov, and the Ambassador of Korea to the country, Kim Kwang-jae.
The Minister emphasized that Korea is a reliable ally for Kyrgyzstan, with which active cooperation has been established in various fields.
Bakyt Sydykov added that the Korean experience in implementing new technologies in the economy could serve as a foundation for future interaction and accelerate the socio-economic progress of Kyrgyzstan.
Ambassador Kim Kwang-jae positively assessed the efforts of the Kyrgyz government in the area of economic growth, implementation of investment projects, and transition to a "green" economy.
The parties discussed ways to diversify trade turnover, activate existing cooperation mechanisms, and new initiatives to deepen economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Korea.
