In the First May District of Bishkek, significant investments in road infrastructure are planned — over 400 million soms will be allocated for the construction and renovation of roads. As part of public discussions, a development plan covering the years 2026-2030 was presented, which includes asphalt paving and the construction of sidewalks in new areas.

After the integration of new settlements into the city, the city administration had to address the task of uniting these residential areas into a single transport network.

In particular, in the "Maevka" residential area, the construction of 10.35 kilometers of new roads is planned by 2030. The renovation will also affect the streets of Molodaya Gvardiya, Teplichnaya, Ala-Archa, Selskaya, Sovkhoznaya, Zhanalyk, and Son-Kol.

In other residential areas, such as "Novopavlovka," "Kut," and "Uchkyn-2," central streets with sidewalks will be laid, for which 73 million soms have been allocated. Additionally, in 2026, a road parallel to the Vasilievsky tract is planned to be built for 32 million soms.

The streets of Prigorodnaya, Okrainaya, and Zhashtyk-2 in the "Zhenish" residential area will also be asphalted as part of this project.

Furthermore, the construction of an above-ground pedestrian crossing in the "Tendik" residential area is planned, which will be located at the intersection with the Northern bypass road, for which 54 million soms have been allocated. Traffic lights will be installed at several intersections that will be updated.
