Water supply in the Pervomaisky district will become a priority for the Bishkek city administration. During the discussions, a plan for the development of communal infrastructure for the annexed territories was presented, covering the period from 2026 to 2030, which includes significant investments in water supply, sewage, and irrigation systems.

In connection with the administrative reform and the expansion of the urban area to 41 thousand hectares, the authorities are faced with the task of providing new residential areas with the necessary utilities.

The largest event will be the modernization of the "Northern" water intake, where the construction of six new wells is planned. A budget of 550 million soms has been allocated for the implementation of this project.

It is planned to lay water supply networks in residential areas such as "Maevka," "Salkyn," "Prigorodnoye," "Stepnoye," and "Ozernoye."

To improve irrigation in "Maevka," irrigation canals with a total length of 15 kilometers will be created. The budget for this project will amount to 75 million soms. In addition, 12.4 million soms will be allocated for the construction of a canal network on the streets of Japarov, Vinogradnaya, and Molodaya Gvardiya.

As part of these initiatives, the municipality will also install new transformer substations with a capacity of 400 kilowatts in the settlements of "Salkyn," "Umut," and "Dostuk." In MTU No. 207, covering the areas of "Tendik" and "Son-Kol," the installation of six substations and 50 power line poles is planned in each of the three MTUs.
