More than 60% of frozen beef in Kyrgyzstan came from India

Beef imports from abroad amounted to 3.9 million dollars over 11 months


According to the National Statistics Committee, more than 60% of frozen beef imported into Kyrgyzstan came from India.

Since the beginning of 2025, the republic has received 1,210 tons of meat worth 3.9 million dollars, which is an increase of 3.5 times compared to the previous year.

The main importing countries of meat:

- India — 760 tons (an increase of 11.6 times)

- Belarus — 140 tons (an increase of 3.5 times)

- Kazakhstan — 100 tons (a decrease of 13.1%)

In addition, frozen meat was imported from Russia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uzbekistan.
